Deej: Freakazoid!monkeyman on October 15th, 2005 12:33 pm (UTC)
Hey ... Audioscrobbler has you listed as my closest musical neighbor, and I think that's a good enough reason to add you to my LJ friends list. Hope you're cool with that.

Besides, from checking your journal for the first time, I found Rick Moranis' country album, which I subsequently paid for and downloaded. Hey, I think it's worth $11.
Rev. Syung Myung Merevme on October 15th, 2005 04:41 pm (UTC)
Oh, hey! Cool! And, hey, I figure you cannot possibly go wrong with someone who digs Freakazoid!, so hey!
Deejmonkeyman on October 17th, 2005 11:44 pm (UTC)
That was my favourite cartoon for many, many years -- I even have a Freakazoid animation cel from the short-lived Warner Brothers store!
Rev. Syung Myung Merevme on October 18th, 2005 02:45 am (UTC)
Cool! I saw those, but I only have pretty much all the Mad Magazine stuff they put out through that Studio Store. It was way more interesting than the Disney Store, though. But do those even still exist either?
Deejmonkeyman on October 18th, 2005 11:53 am (UTC)
The Disney stores still exist, at least the one I know of here in Toronto does. I don't wind up there very often, of course, but occasionally I browse the Pixar-related merchandise. ;)

The Answer Prancer
Rev. Sung Myung Me,

I have witnessed your Morris eulogy on the High Wierdness site, and raise you a Nathan Barley. I think you'd love it, though some knowledge of London Trustafari would enrich the experience.

May your iron launch many severed heads,

Profit MooHamHead

Re: The Answer Prancer
Oh, I love Nathan Barley! I need to pick up the DVD release of it that just came out not too awfully long ago, but I was getting torrents of it when it ran. That was so cool. I've heard that there's actually a second series planned, even though the first did pretty poorly in the ratings, which makes me happy, since, you know, I want to see more.

So, yeah, thanks!
Heresiarchradixx on June 24th, 2006 03:04 am (UTC)
I'm quite sure why you added me and I'll keep you informed if you'll do the same. No real news yet here.

On a happier note; big bonus that you're into YFF. I had forgotten all about them until I read your info.
Rev. Syung Myung Merevme on June 24th, 2006 12:00 pm (UTC)
Heh, fair enough, and I'll be sure to. Nothing to report here, either, though, but I'll let you know!

Hee -- yeah! The Fellows are so great. Jim Sangster & Kurt Bloch's got a new band, Sgt. Major -- I'd recommend checkin' them out, too, particularly if you dig the Fastbacks, too.
Heresiarchradixx on June 25th, 2006 02:21 am (UTC)
Not knowing what's up is admittedly driving me a bit nuts. In case you didn't know, I'm the one who made the call the other night. Hated to do it, but I might have also hated myself for not doing it. Kevin is posting a lot, but of course I can't see those. He knows I'm the one who called too.
Rev. Syung Myung Merevme on June 25th, 2006 03:24 am (UTC)
Yeah -- I know; and I just want you to know that no matter what he says, you did the right thing. I'm going to email her in a little bit; just to sort of check in and see how things are going, and give her the option of when she wants to/can respond and everything. I sort of wish I knew what he was posting about, too, but yeah -- that's for other people to know, I expect.

thank you!

Thanks for the MetaFilter link
I noticed a spike in my hit count today, and a lot of it is due to that teeny-tiny link to my Perverted Justice page you inserted into your MF posting today. I don't have a MetaFilter account, alas, otherwise I'd mention this on there: It may be a coincidence, but suddenly I find that once again, the link to Perverted Justice's Web site from my Web site has been blocked. If you click on the link on my Web page ( http://www.modemac.com/wiki/Perverted_Justice ), you get an error message "unable to connect." However, if you enter their URL directly into your Web browser, you can connect to them just fine.

I love it when this happens. :)

Re: Thanks for the MetaFilter link
That's cool -- I kinda wonder if MeFI will end up having one of those blocks! (Speaking of which, I kinda like some of the early comments being all "WHOA you are DEFENDING PEDOPHILES!!!" and stuff... I always find it interesting how some topics can cause such knee-jerk reactions...)

i just realized that you added me. probably a while ago. anyway.

that z channel post? yeah, um, that was v. v. indirectly responsible for my interviewing stuart cooper and almost making the packaging for overlord.
(Anonymous) on July 8th, 2008 01:22 am (UTC)
Cool! I'm glad that I could be very very indirectly responsible for something!
Rev. Syung Myung Merevme on July 8th, 2008 01:22 am (UTC)
Uh, that was me.
chelsea the mod pixie: guy smiley || wileypetermodpixie on July 8th, 2008 01:36 am (UTC)
i figured as much. :)

you were very very indirectly responsible for something that didn't happen. i hope that's cool, too.
Rev. Syung Myung Merevme on July 8th, 2008 01:39 am (UTC)
Well, you got to interview him! That's pretty awesome. And not doing packaging for Overlord is more than most people don't get to do!

..er, wait...
chelsea the mod pixiemodpixie on July 8th, 2008 01:41 am (UTC)

Thanks for the information. I think that you should wash your face at least 3 to 4 times a day. You’ll be surprised how much better your face will look.
